What is WordBRIDGE?

WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory seeks to empower pre-professional playwrights to achieve the next level of craftsmanship through collaboration with seasoned professionals from around the world.

WordBRIDGE provides pre-professional playwrights a place to experiment free of production pressures and with the resources to bridge some of the distance between their internal vision and their final goal - production.
Playwrights challenge themselves and their craft during two weeks of rehearsals with professional artists and resources in a generous, interdisciplinary environment; a place to say 'yes' to their creative impulses.
Professional artists and resources include directors, actors, dramaturgs, playwrights, behavioral scientists, storytellers, musicians, movement and improvisation artists.
